I’m a retired human resources professional who lacked the confidence (and income) to feel free to write until I reached my sixties. Here, I’ll share some of the ideas, tools, and resources that gave me that confidence.

Since 2019, I have published more than eighty poems in over sixty journals, and three books of poetry, including the picture book, At the Reading of the Will, which features the amazing illustrations of the magical ED Hose, and the layout genius of the multi-talented Charles Royce.

My wife and I, and our dog Charley Girl, make our home in Nashville, Tennessee.
